Inter-Instruction Effects: circuit state
•The cost of a pair of instructions is
always greater
then the base cost of the pair and the difference is termed the circuit state overhead.
•On a
final note, after extensive study it was found the circuit state overhead has a limited
range—between 5.0 mA and 30.0 mA and most frequently is around 15.0 mA.
