EE/CS120B
Winter Quarter, 2003
EE/CS120B LAB SCHEDULE
In the following schedule, the "Latest Starting Date" column indicates that you should start the lab on or before that date. At that date, TA will briefly go through the lab and clarify any misconception. The "Last Demo Date" column indicates the very latest date that each lab must be demo'ed. Lab reports and all codes, schematics, and results are due at the time of the demo. Late lab reports will lose points. You should plan to work AHEAD of this schedule, starting before the LSD and demo'ing well before the LDD. You can demo a lab any time that the TA of your section is available. You should make full use of the 4 hours of every lab session, working ahead on assigned labs. Students should NOT miss lab sessions except for rare personal circumstances. You may work in the other lab session if space is available. However, you must demo in your own lab session.
A lab is completed only after it is demo'ed and the lab reports are in. Late completion will be assessed a penalty of 20% per lab days for labs 1-7 and 100% penalty after March 5th, so please work ahead and don't fall behind. Note that Lab 6 and 8 are considered more difficult than the other labs so you should try to get there as soon as you can!!! Lab 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, are counted as 0.5 lab each while lab 6 and 8 are counted as 1.5 lab. There will be an additional lab exam that is with points equivalent to 2 labs.
