Labs

You will be using 2 different web-based lab systems. This means you will need 3 user accounts:

If you have any problems with your lab computer acocunt, contact the TA. If you have problems with either lab site account, contact the technical support using the contact information provided on the lab site.

Labs will be submitted electronically, so after the first week, you do not have to show up to lab every Monday and Wednesday. The TA will be in the lab room (Winston Chung 226) during the scheduled lab hours on those days, so if you have any questions regarding the labs, you should go during that time to ask him. You can do the work using any computer, but make sure you do not share your files with any other students. If you submit a file that was originally downloaded by another student, both lab systems will trigger a cheating alert. You must make sure to submit the labs by the stated deadlines to receive credit for them.

At the end of the quarter, you will be asked to evaluate the 2 different lab systems. Participation in this evaluation is mandatory.

Quizzes

The quizzes are not cumulative.

You must bring the following to each quiz:

Note that cell phones and other electronic devices must be put away during the quizzes.

The quizzes will be given at the beginning of class each Tuesday, except for the last quiz, which will be given during the scheduled final exam time for the class.
