Computer Science 8 - Lab 9 Assignment (Week 10)

Before You Start...

Before doing this week's lab, make sure you have completed all of the HTML "mini-lab" assignments.

Introduction

In the last several weeks, you have learned how to create simple web pages by hand. There are many tools available, however, to make our lives easier when working with web pages, and many of those tools are free.

The Mozilla web browser has a built-in HTML editor called Composer, which you are going to use to do this week's lab.

The Assignment

The link below leads to an on-line Composer tutorial. Your assignment is to complete steps 1 - 9 of the tutorial.

Note that the tutorial asks you to download a zip file. In case there are any problems downloading or unzipping the file, I have made the contents of the zip file available here. To download one of these files to your computer, right-click on the link, select Save Link Target As...", browse to the network drive, and save.

If you download the zip file, make sure to save it on the network drive and not on the Desktop (as the tutorial suggests).

Once you have finished steps 1 - 9, make sure to show the completed page to your TA to get credit.
