Becoming a Billionaire

Well, the simple compound interest formula is not going to do the trick here because even if you invest $200 a month into something that pays a 15% annual interest, it will still take you 96 years!

Ninety-six years is just over an average person's life span. And even if you are one of the few who lives to be ninety-six years old, you would have had to start investing the second you were born. Probably you weren't thinking about this subject while you were having your first bath. So this option is out of the question.

The other option is if your father started the tradition and is now passing it on to you. Hopefully, he started it pretty early and that he is about halfway there. But this is really saying that you already have a rich father, and that he is going to give you his big inheritance very soon so that you can continue this magical tradition.

Most of us don't have a rich father -- or do we? What if I am to tell you that you do have a rich father. And not only is he the richest person in this world, he is also a king. Would that make you at least a billionaire right now? I would definitely say so.

Well, you do have a father who is a king. What's more, he is not just any king. He is the King of kings; He is the King of this universe. The Bible tells us that "For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ." Galatians 3:26; Romans 8:17. Notice that the key to this riches is "by faith in Christ Jesus."

So what does it really mean? The gospel of John tells us that "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." John 1:12. In other words, by faith in Him means to receive Him, to believe in Him, or to accept Him. So all you have to do is to give your heart to Him and accept Him as your personal savior, and you will be a son or daughter of the King!

Of course when that happens, you will be more than a billionaire!
