Fenix Fire Entertainment Projects

Roboto

A 3D Side-scrolling platformer released on the Android and Amazon marketplaces. I worked on updating an older existing version of the game. I added a fully functional shop for character customization and upgrades, added social media sharing features, setup a back-end framework to update gameplay parameters for quicker update cycles, and added/refined gameplay mechanics and features.

Technologies used: Unity, C#, Javascript, PHP, SQL

Osiris Battlefield

A sci-fi vehicular combat/fps action game released on Google Play. This is a new release for Fenix Fire Entertainment, showing off amazing visuals and exciting gameplay all on a mobile device. I developed the enemy spawning system along with the enemy creature AI, designed the overall gameplay loops and mechanics, and structured the leveling system for vehicle and weapon upgrades. This IP has also spawned a new title called Gates of Osiris, which is an Open World Multiplayer Space Survival Simulation. This title is currently in development with a planned release on Steam/PS4/XboxOne.

Source (In Development)

An artistic-driven metroidvania adventure game following a firefly in a surreal world where energy is the key to everything. You harness energy to be used as health, projectiles, and to interact with the wildlife and environment. On this project, I have been focusing on character movement and abilities, a cinematic camera controller, all wildlife AI (lots of procedural animation), and wildlife/environment interaction. I have also developed many of the gameplay systems/mechanics.

Technologies used: Unreal 4, Unreal Blueprints, C++

Smash Derby (In Development)

An old school arcade-action experience with tons of explosions, particle fx, and mayhem. Jump into a hovercraft vehicle and face off in a demolition game show competition with other players, AI crafts, hazards, and traps. On this project, I focused on AI behaviours and formations, combo systems, and difficulty progression. I also did a lot of UI work, helped develop the multiplayer mode, and worked on exploration of other game modes.
