=================== General Information =================== ------------------ Course description ------------------ Security and privacy are important aspects of the cyber space. This class covers foundational work and important topics in cybersecurity. We will read research papers, do hands-on labs, and take in-class quiz. Students will be prepared for taking advances classes in computer security and learn to make connections to other areas. NOTE: due to limited time, other topics like applied cryptography and privacy will not be covered. For cryptography, please take CS216. ------------ Textbooks ------------ This class does not have a required textbook. Most reading materials are research papers. We will provide lecture notes, slides, and videos for material covered (when applicable).
