Lab 6 - Course evaluation & Midterm review
This section is not a regular lab section. Today you will complete a course
evaluation form, and the TAs will present a review for the midterm.
Course evaluation
Go to the webpage Anonymous
Evaluation/Suggestion Form, select CS 014 in the Subject list, and consider
the following themes for your comments (you have some ideas between parenthesis,
of course you can consider and evaluate other issues):
- Comment 1: Comments for/about the instructor (Titus Winters)
- Comment 2: Comments for/about the TA (Steve Chen)
- Comment 3: Comments about the in-lab exercises
- Comment 4: Comments about the assignments
- Comment 5: Comments about the quizzes
- Comment 6: The course overall - give the course a grade A-F and explain.
What can we be doing better?
- Comment 7: What do you think of the "point system"?
- Comment 8: When did you take CS 12?
- Comment 9: If you took prerequisite courses from another school, tell us
what programming language was used, and whether adjusting to UCR was hard or
easy, and why.

Midterm review
The TAs are going to discuss the solutions of Quiz and homework. Also, come
prepared with your own questions.
