Lab 5 - Course evaluation & Midterm review
This section is not a regular lab section. Today you will complete a course evaluation form, and the TAs will present a review for the midterm.
Course evaluation
Go to the webpage Anonymous Evaluation/Suggestion Form, select CS 014 in the Subject list, and consider the following themes for your comments (you have some ideas between parenthesis, of course you can consider and evaluate other issues):
- Comment 1. Lecture (contents, lecture notes, homework assignments, ...)
- Comment 2. Instructor (organization, knowledge, instruction, motivation, office hours, ...)
- Comment 3. Lab section (contents, organization, lab instructions, exercises, ...)
- Comment 4. TAs (organization, knowledge, instruction, motivation, office hours, language, ...)
- Comment 5. Your participation
- Comment 6. The course overall -- please grade the course (A-F), and explain.Tell us what we could do better.
- Comment 7. Tell us your major and how your studies are going so far.
- Comment 8. Are you seriously thinking of switching out of the CS/CompEng/IS major (or have you already done so)? If so, please tell us why. And tell us to what major you are thinking of switching to.
- Comment 9. If you took prerequisite courses from another school, tell us what language was used, and whether adjusting to UCR was hard or easy (in either case, tell us why).
- Use the last comment space for writing about whatever you want, regarding CS14.
