UCR CS 10: Homework Instructions

Fall 2004

Register

Go to www.turingscraft.com and click on "register" in the upper right hand corner.
Click STUDENT and continue
Enter the section access code: UCRIV-KM-11121
then click continue
Fill out the remaining forms, (be sure to use a valid email address).

Go to www.turingscraft.com and click on "login" in the upper right hand corner.
Enter your username(email address entered during registration) and password (chosen at registration).
Begin working on homework.
Try to get the correct answer before moving on to the next question. You may answer each question as many times as you want. We only see if your latest answer is correct.

After loggin in, go to LOBBY
Click "get full access"
Click "pay on web" and follow instructions on screen to pay by credit card.
Log out, log back in
(ALTERNATE arrangements can be made by phoning Matt at 866-TURING1 7am to 3pm Pacific Time, for students who have no credit card)
Payment need not be made until you want to go beyond 10 exercises (Homework 1); however, you should not wait until the last minute (i.e. the day before an assignment is due) to pay! In other words, you can complete homework 1 before paying, but to complete hw2 and beyond you will need to pay.
