Hi, I see that you have made your way to my site, so at least on some level it appears we have already connected. One of my favorite quotes is by Calvin Coolidge who said, "Patriotism is easy to understand in America; it means looking out for yourself by looking out for your country." It really is a beautifaul place.

Currently I am the instructor for CS14 Introduction to Data Structures and Algorithms, for the Spring 08 quarter. I'm also actively pursuing my Ph.D. at the University of California, Riverside in the Computer Science Department.

I am a Researcher and member of the Smart Tools Lab. I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCR. My research interests are Pen Based Computing Systems, Symbol and Sketch Recognition, and more generally Data Mining.

I am also a member of the U.S. Department of Labor's WIRED, Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development, initiative.
